The company has set a number of environmental objectives designed to improve our environmental performance:

- Look for viable ways to reduce energy consumption
- Company performance against the environmental objectives will be regularly reviewed

The Principle Trust
Established in 2010, CEO Mike Davies had a vision about helping disadvantaged children in the local community, assisting them in various ways and providing facilities where they can just have fun. After much deliberation, we decided that it would be fantastic to offer children who really deserve a break, somewhere safe and exciting to enjoy a much-needed holiday.
We want to ensure as many children and families as possible can benefit from the Trust. We are working with local authorities to provide holiday accommodation at all times of the year, for those they consider most in need.
So far the Trust has helped over 1000 children and 400 families.
We are committed to raising funds to enable more children to enjoy a free, memory-packed holiday. We are hoping to raise enough money to buy another holiday home so we can help more families. The Principle Trust receives no government funding and solely relies on the generosity of individuals and business donors, as well as fund-raising events.
Inspiration
The founder responsible for setting up the charity experienced a very difficult and painful childhood having lost his mum when he was only 5 years old. This resulted in his childhood being fraught with challenges and difficulties and family holidays were just something that didn’t happen with any real fun and enjoyment. The only memory of escaping was being put on a train alone, from the grand old age of 8 with a carrier bag of clothes to go spend time with family members at the other end of the country. Although harsh, in reality this was the most exciting holiday experience he encountered, but one which was looked forward to, and remembered! As a result, many years later, what came of this experience was a real passion and desire to help todays disadvantaged children enjoy the fun and excitement of a holiday. This is why The Principle Trust has formed.
